Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of DocScribe (the "App"), operated by Hormonia ("we", "us"). By using the App you agree to these terms.

Last updated: 20 May 2026.

1. The service

DocScribe is a documentation assistant exclusively for licensed medical professionals in India. The App records consultation audio, transcribes it, and generates structured clinical notes using AI. All AI-generated outputs require physician review before clinical use.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, hold valid medical credentials recognised in India, and use the App only for lawful medical practice. You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure.

3. Important limitations

DocScribe does not diagnose, recommend treatments, or validate medical accuracy. Drug names, dosages, and instructions in the generated notes may be incorrect, incomplete, or misinterpreted from the audio. As the treating physician, you bear full responsibility for reviewing and verifying all output before clinical use.

4. Your obligations

5. Pricing & payments

The App currently offers free consultations with a monthly quota shown in-app. Some features may require a paid subscription, billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your device's app store settings. Future paid plans will require explicit consent before charging.

6. Intellectual property

The App, its design, and its AI models are owned by Hormonia and protected by applicable laws. Your consultation content and patient data remain yours. Uploaded data is processed only by our transcription and AI providers — it is not used to train or fine-tune general-purpose AI models.

7. Disclaimer & liability

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind regarding accuracy, completeness, or uptime. To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Hormonia's liability is limited to the amounts you have paid us in the twelve months preceding any claim (which may be zero for free users). We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from your use of the App.

8. Termination

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time (see the Delete Account page). We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are breached.

9. Dispute resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore. Parties agree to attempt informal resolution before initiating any legal proceedings.

10. Changes

We may update these terms; the "Last updated" date will reflect any changes. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
